Welcome back to Blogmas day 3. How are you finding it? You coping with a daily dose of me? I hope so. Also, I hope you got some inspo from my makeup look yesterday, I really enjoyed doing it! You can check that out >>here<<. Today we are talking about Christmas films. Which I slyly touched on during day 1, but today I’ll be rating my faves.
Top 4 Christmas Films
If you do not know what Elf is, then who are you? This is a go-to classic. It’s all about Buddy the Elf who doesn’t fit in with the others at the North Pole and goes to America to find his true identity. I cry, laugh, feel so many emotions watching this. There are hilarious moments regarding food that I don’t want to say too much otherwise I’ll spoil it – but just watch it!!
Home Alone (1+2)
Home Alone is hands down one of the best Christmas films out there. Again like Elf, if you haven’t heard of Home Alone then where have you been? Briefly, Home Alone 1 is about a boy (Kevin) who is left behind at Christmas time and burglars come to his house and he has to protect it. There are sooo many cringe-worthy moments, but it’s a light-hearted funny film that’s great for the whole family. I would recommend watching 1+2 with Macaulay Culkin in – he’s amazing.
How The Grinch Stole Christmas
This is such an amazing film that reminds me of when I was younger. Similarly, like most of these ~ not heard of it? How? It’s the Grinch!!! It’s based in Whoville, which is the ideal Christmas village, with munchkin looking people, adorbs. But up in the mountain lives a green Grinch who hates everything about Christmas and wants to steal it from the Who’s. But Cindy Lou Who wants to befriend the Grinch and that’s where I leave it for you to enjoy!
This is the newest Christmas film that I love. All the others are oldies but show the old ones pull it out of the bag. This is about Arthur, Santa’s son, and showing how Santa really gets all the gifts out on time (with some high tech that’s how). They miss a present and Arthur and St Nick have to get it to the girl within 2 hours. Even at 20, this is a film I enjoy and love!
If you haven’t watched any of them, then you have to this Christmas! They are all such chill films, and honestly great for anyone to watch. Please let me know what your favourite Christmas films are to watch in the comments below,
